UNISDR is the main link between the GFMC - Global Fire Monitoring Centre and the UN system.
The International Association of Wildland Fire (IAWF) is a non-profit, professional association representing members of the global wildland fire community. The purpose of the association is to facilitate communication and provide leadership for the wildland fire community.




GFMC is member of the UN-ISDR Inter-Agency Task Force for Disaster Reduction and Coordinator of the UN-ISDR Wildland Fire. Advisory Group and the Global Wildland Fire Network.
The GFMC provides a global portal for wildland fire documentation, information and monitoring and is publicly accessible through the Internet. The regularly updated national to global wildland fire products of the GFMC are generated by a worldwide network of cooperating institutions.
The Global Fire Monitoring Center (GFMC) was established in 1998 at the Fire Ecology and Biomass Burning Research Group.
Bombardier Aerospace Amphibious Aircraft, headquartered in Montréal, Canada, is responsible for sales and after-sales support of the Bombardier 415 amphibious multi-role aircraft. It also provides continued Customer Support services for the world-wide fleet of CL-215 and CL-215T firefighting amphibians. Their customers can be found in nine countries on four continents.
